Petite Fleur De La Mort

£159.00

Original painting from Slevens ongoing “Petit Chou Fleur” collection. This piece intertwines the themes of life and death. The skull representing death and the flower, life. Both life and death offer forms of change and growth. Throughout life we go through many changes, that hopefully help us blossom into the beautifully unique flowers we’re meant to be. And death, be it in the physical or metaphorical form, also harnesses the power of deep change and growth within. Through physical death, it can forge a much needed state of growth within the people in morning and metaphorically, they can come about through the death of ego, bad habits or conditioning. Styling the piece in a cartoonish fashion helps lighten the tone of the deeper meaning behind the piece, with the intention to make it a more approachable subject for discussion. A deep yet lighthearted looking piece for anyone whom likes to ponder life and death or just has a fancy for flowers and cute skulls.

Dimensions: 40.2 × 40.2cm

Medium: Acrylic on canvas. Sealed with a gloss varnish finish.

All paintings are signed and come with a certificate of authenticity.

Disclaimer: Product photos are edited to represent colours and textures as accurately as possible, but slight variations may occur due to screen settings and production differences.
