Fuck Everything!
Original piece from Sleven. Part of a collection of nine paintings that were created for a joint exhibition titled “Outsiders”. The underlying theme from these nine paintings that Sleven created for said exhibition, are based around mental health and feeling like an outsider. This particular piece is about the mood of FUCK IT, FUCK EVERYTHING, that one can often find them selves in when going through a patch of bad mental health. Them times when you feel everyone and everything is against you, and you just feel the urge to tell anyone that comes across your path, to just fuck off!! Because you need leaving alone to work your head out of it. This misshapen and disfigured head, with multiple eyes and mouths, poignantly depicts the how one can often feel internally, when in this state. It can feel like there’s numerous people shouting at once, eye’s and thoughts become erratic and have no idea on where to focus, dripping with sweat that feels as heavy and thick as blood, your brain feels like it’s falling out the top of your head and you generally feel monstrously grotesque. Just like this odd looking chap! An emotionally charged piece for anyone that knows the rough n tumbles of mental health or any fan of body horror art.
