So it begins!

Hullo there my fellow sentient beans! If you don’t already know me, allow me to introduce myself, I am Luke Seven, aka SLEVEN. I humbly welcome you, with warm arms and paint stained mitts, to my blog…..S7even steps to sanity!

I’m going to do my best to keep this first blog post short and sweet, by just giving you info on what the blog will be about. So I’ll be using this blogging space almost like a social media platform. I find social media is cross between a farm and a school. It’s a place that can nurture growth, cultivate knowledge and seed ideas. But because social media platforms are owned by people that generally couldn’t give a flying shiznit about the people using it, they will only let you grow and spread knowledge and ideas, within their highly restrictive parameters. That are designed to keep peoples attention spans down, dopamine levels up and minds numb. It’s also full of misguided souls that like to troll or hate on what you’re doing.

So, taking that into mind, I’ll be utilising this space to cultivate my own community. For people that truly have an interest in my art. What it is to be an artist, what goes into it, and all the mental, emotional, physical, moral, and spiritual ups ‘n’ downs that come with it. I’ll be doing this with visual and written documenting of my creative endeavours and also the mental and physical processes that go into it. I’ll also be sharing daily musings and drawings. Sharing ideas and knowledge. You’ll be the first to know of any new print, art or merch drops before they go up on the shop, with the ability to pre order. I’ll also be dropping discount codes into blogs at random. As well as info and backstory on myself, for you to be able to understand and connect with me and my art on a deeper level. I’ll be aiming to do this on as daily a basis as possible. Weekly at a minimum and as raw and nakedly honest as possible.

There will be a monthly subscription fee to see this blog, that’s as little as £1 a month or £10 for the year. Both of which can be cancelled at any time and you’ll have whatever time you have left of that payment period on the blog. By signing up, you’re giving me the ability to keep the blog and website running. And from doing this, I hope to be able to also connect, learn, build and grow from any knowledge, feedback or critiquing my future community gives back to me.

This is my little fwend and mascot Mr Painty Fingerz! He’s busy working away, laying down ideas for future blog posts.
